Famous Disney Villains Cast a Spooky Shadow Over Hong Kong Disneyland During Debut of Disney’s Halloween

Just in time for Halloween, the infamous Disney Villains are casting a spooky shadow over Hong Kong Disneyland during the vacation resort’s first annual “Disney’s Halloween” celebration.

The collection of rogues will be taking temporary residence at the Opera House from September 30 to October 31, 2006 as part of a new, interactive experience, “The Villains’ Lair.”

Guests who enter The Villains’ Lair will be immersed in themed vignettes inspired by Disney’s classic animated features including “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” and “Hercules.”

The attraction will be filled with new delights including face-to-face encounters with larger-than-life villains as part of this unique meet-and-greet and photo opportunity.

As an early Halloween treat, Summer Pass holders will have access to a special sneak peek of The Villains’ Lair September 23 to 28 during normal park operating hours.

Some of the villainous stars guests might encounter inside The Villains’ Lair include:
· The craggy-faced Witch from “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.” She wants to kill Snow White for being more beautiful than her.
· Hades, the powerful god of the Underworld from “Hercules.” He wants Hercules’ powers so he can rule the land.
· “Pain” and “Panic,” Hades’ bumbling underlings in “Hercules.”
· Cruella De Vil, from “101 Dalmatians.” The nemesis of all spotted pups, she will stop at nothing for fashion and fur.
· Jafar, the sinister sorcerer from “Aladdin.” He wants the Genie in the bottle to serve him and will stop at nothing to get the Genie’s powers.
· Captain Hook, the one-handed pirate from “Peter Pan.” He is a ruthless and stylish swashbuckler after Peter Pan and Tinker Bell.
· The imposing Queen of Hearts, from “Alice in Wonderland,” is a menace to anyone who enters her kingdom. She is mad – both mentally and emotionally!
